About the d-CON No View, No Touch Covered Mouse Trap
The d-CON No View, No Touch Covered Mouse Trap is a snap trap inside a round covered case. You put a little bait in the compartment, twist the case to set it and place it along a wall. A mouse that goes in is caught out of sight, and the whole trap goes in the trash, so you never handle the mouse.
It is one of the products in the d-CON mouse control line.
Key features
- No view: The cover hides the caught mouse completely.
- No touch: Bait, twist to set, and later throw the whole trap away.
- No poison: It is a mechanical trap: there is no bait poison in it, only the food you add.
- 6 or 12 traps: A box of 6 single traps, or 6 packs of 2.
How to use it
- 1
Put a small amount of bait (peanut butter works) in the bait compartment.
- 2
Twist the case to set the trap.
- 3
Place it along a wall where mice run, entry facing the wall side they travel.
- 4
Check daily. When the trap shows a catch, throw the whole trap away.
Where it goes
Kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, pantries and living rooms, along the walls. Mice rarely travel far from the nest, so set several traps a few feet apart where you see signs.

A small amount of food in the bait compartment. CDC suggests a little peanut butter for snap traps.
How many d-CON traps should you set?
Several, not one. University extension guidance places mouse traps no more than about 10 feet apart along the walls, because house mice seldom go far from nest and food.
