About the d-CON Refillable Corner Fit Mouse Bait Station
The d-CON Refillable Corner Fit Mouse Bait Station is a low, square station shaped to sit in a corner, sold with a pack of d-CON refill bait blocks. You pull the bait cartridge out of the bottom, push a block in until it clicks, slide the cartridge back and set the station where mice travel. When the blocks are gone you refill the same station instead of buying a new one.
It is one of the products in the d-CON range.
Key features
- Corner fit: The station is square on one side so it sits flush in a corner or along a wall, where mice run.
- Refill, keep the station: A pack holds one, two or three stations and 12 to 36 refill blocks for them.
- Two entry holes: Mice go in from either side, feed on the block inside and leave.
- Package marking: The bag reads "child and dog resistant". No station is tamper-proof, EPA notes, so placement out of reach still matters.
- Indoors or outdoors: The package description calls the station weather-resistant for indoor or outdoor use. Follow the placement on the label.
How to use it
- 1
Read the label on the bag before you open it, and wear gloves if the label says so.
- 2
Pull the bait cartridge out of the bottom of the station.
- 3
Push one refill block into the cartridge until it clicks in place, then slide the cartridge back.
- 4
Set it flat in a corner or along a wall where you have seen droppings or gnawing, out of the reach of children and pets.
- 5
Check it every few days. When the block is gone, add a new one and keep the remaining blocks in the closed bag.
Where it goes
Attics, behind appliances, basements, garages and sheds, along the wall where droppings show up. One station covers one spot. Mice rarely travel far from the nest, so a kitchen and a garage each want their own.
Caution
Product safety
- This is rodent bait: poison to people, dogs and cats as well as to mice. Read and follow the label on the package before you open it.
- The bag reads "child and dog resistant". No station is tamper-proof, so set it where children and pets cannot reach it.
- Keep unused bait in its closed package, away from food and pet food.
- If a child may have swallowed bait, call Poison Help at 1-800-222-1222. For a pet, call your veterinarian.
